Hi there, I'm Matthew Jimenez and I'm an easy guy. I'm a 'meat and potatoes' kind of easy guy. When it comes to food, I've always known what I like and I've never had any reason to try anything new. So this blog and the accompanying podcast is my attempt at broadening my horizons and expanding my taste palate. Consider this an open journal that I'm sharing with the world.
However, I'm not only here for the food. I'm here for the people. I'm not really interested in what people do for a living, I'm more curious about what they do to live. What drives them? What are the passions burning inside of them?
I know it often feels like our world is on fire, but it's important to remind ourselves that good people are doing great things every single day. We may never hear about those stories because good news doesn't sell ad revenue, but those are the stories that I want to tell. Those are the people that I want to find.
